Training

The Oil and Gas Technical Apprentice Programme is split into two stages.  As an apprentice, you will spend time at college and the worksite with a sponsoring company, where you will receive expert on-the-job training. 

You will attend one of our appointed colleges for 21 months, where the following qualifications will be attained: 

• SVQ Level 2 (Performing Engineering Operation)
• National Certificate (multi discipline)
• Higher National Certificate (discipline specific) 
• Process Operations Hydrocarbons Level 1

Following successful completion of the college phase, you will be mentored alongside experienced staff, gaining industry specific skills as well as an SVQ Level 3 in your discipline.
